LOEA is Hawaiian for skill, cleverness and technical knowledge, and we strive to live up to our name.
Jennifer Rigg created her first shirt in 1989 at the age of 12. Since then, there have been many more designs, drawn in her San Juan Island studio she shares with various animal friends. Each shirt is carefully screen printed by hand.
Founded in 2000, LOEA evolved from an illustration and graphic design company into an apparel printing venture, helping nonprofits and charities fundraise for their causes.
A portion of profits from the sale of LOEA shirts honor and benefit causes that are close to Jennifer’s heart.
